Tennis

These days my husband and my parents and even my son are complaining that I play too much tennis, that I talk too much about tennis, that I watch too much tennis and that it's starting to bore them to death. My 4 year old son made a sign that said "no" and had a picture of a tennis racquet.

Well, what can I say, I like tennis. I've been playing since I was seven years old and it's taken my quite some time and effort to become a pretty good player. Right now the big excitement is that my tennis team is in first place - we have 4 more matches to play this season and if we finish in first place we'll be bumped up to the next level. I find it very exciting. I'm playing on court 1 now and that's a lot of pressure.

Everybody says the same thing about my tennis game - "Alyce is steady" - a member of my wedding party said on my wedding video that I am a "very steady tennis player." "You're like hitting against a backboard" they say. Well, I now announce to anybody bored enough to be reading this page on the internet that I am tired of being steady - I want to be aggressive and powerful, that is my goal.
